1. The service
CommerceLatch reads Shopify promotion and product configuration, runs deterministic checks, creates representative Storefront carts, compares expected and actual discount allocations, and keeps privacy-minimized proof receipts. Proofs use a guest cart by default. Connected test-shopper proof may be offered separately where the required Shopify approval and merchant authorization are available. Review and Manual check are fail-closed outcomes, not release approval.
2. Subscription and free trial
The public CommerceLatch plan is US$19 per month with a 30-day free trial. The merchant approves the subscription through Shopify before access begins. Unless cancelled in Shopify Admin before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the price and interval Shopify displays. Shopify manages billing, cancellation, and any billing adjustment or refund under the terms shown in Shopify Admin. Existing written founding credits, if any, remain governed by the specific offer made to that store.
3. Merchant responsibilities
- Use CommerceLatch only for stores you are authorized to operate.
- Review promotion settings and CommerceLatch coverage before release.
- Do not treat a representative cart as proof of every customer, subscription, stacking, geography, currency, or app interaction.
- Keep Shopify access secure and comply with applicable law and Shopify policies.
4. Safe product boundaries
CommerceLatch is observe-only in production: it does not edit, deactivate, or publish a discount. A Ready result means the supported configuration and tested cart matched at the recorded time. Shopify, storefront configuration, other apps, inventory, customer context, and later changes can affect future outcomes.
5. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Shopify APIs, storefronts, hosting, maintenance, and events outside our control can interrupt proof. Failures and timeouts close the release gate rather than infer success. Support is available at n3wai100@gmail.com.
6. Privacy and intellectual property
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. CommerceLatch software, branding, and documentation remain the property of CommerceLatch and its licensors. Shopify trademarks belong to Shopify and its affiliates.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without implied warranties. CommerceLatch is a release-assurance aid, not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice and not a guarantee of campaign revenue or error-free promotions. Liability limitations apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using CommerceLatch by uninstalling it from Shopify Admin. We may suspend access to protect stores, comply with law, address abuse, or respond to platform requirements. Uninstall triggers the deletion behavior described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer or commercial protections, disputes will be heard in the Taipei District Court, Taiwan. Before filing, the parties will try in good faith to resolve the issue by contacting n3wai100@gmail.com.
